Do Nothing Day
Monday, July 19, 2010 at 2:59PM I'm doing nothing today. Should that sentence be my entire post? If I write more will it count as doing something? :)
Coraline is currently totally content playing with her books. It was just one of those things that happened, I wanted to take a nap with Coraline but couldn't sleep. Instead of getting started with housework I did nothing. It is kind of nice feeling. JP and I both did plenty around the house this weekend so the house will not suffer my break. Every stay at home mom should take a day to do nothing!
As September 16 approaches, I am thinking more and more about this past year. I never want to think back and realize I spent too much time worrying about laundry and dishes or making dinner, not enough time laying in bed with Coraline, cuddling, sleeping together or tickeling her until we were both hysterical!

Oh, I know that feeling. We are at 8 1/2 months. Everyone always said it would go fast, and I thought I knew, but I didn't.
I hope your enjoyed your day of nothing, but spending it with your baby isn't nothing, now is it? That's definitely a very important something...
