Today marks your 1 month birthday, I can't believe that much time has passed since we welcomed you into the world. I have to admit that not a lot happened in your first month of life, at least not for you. Daddy and I are still working out the logistics of spreading our time and attention between two children. I hate to fall into a trap of constantly comparing you to your older sister but I must say that you are just as laid back as she was as an infant.
Coraline is completely and utterly in love with you. She would be content to simply hold and kiss you all day everyday. Although it has been difficult for her to allow you "nummies" when she wants them, she is really showing what a great big sister she is, we can't expect too much from a 2 year old. You are the bright spot in our days, everyday without fail. When we look back on this time we will say that you ate and slept, that's pretty much the life of a one month old.
You love to smile, I'm not sure if that is on track with other 1 month old children but we catch you laughing and smiling all the time. You light up when Coraline comes to sing to you and love to cuddle with your daddy. We bought you a swing the other day, definitely one of your favorite things so far.
As the months pass I know that we will have many adventures to tell you about, for now I'm content to let this letter serve as a reminder that your family is totally in love with you.
